A Mirricle Occured

ABOUT THE BOOK
Dr Bongiwe Mali-Swelindawo was born a passionate girl who knew deep inside that there had to be more to life than that which she was involuntarily surrounded by from birth. Even though her embryonic life was blurred, lacking rays of sunshine and blue skies, Bongiwe undermined everything about her early life and inspired herself to live a purpose driven life by dreaming bigger than life itself. Bongiwe’s passion and desire to be ‘somebody’ made her imagine and expect only goodness for her life. She believes that when God divvied out her life purpose assignments, like He does for all of us, God cherry-picked educational and career paths that He knew would prepare her for living her life purpose.

The beauty of this is that against all odds – living in poverty; growing up parentless; being subjected to numerous life-threating situations – God pushed her to greater heights. She researched and composed a master’s dissertation in the Engineering Faculty, and earned cum-laude marks. But even this was not good enough for this high achiever. She soon researched and wrote her PhD thesis in Engineering: The Built Environment & Technology Faculty, passing with flying colours. Even today, her research report serves as a model to many other students. She managed to hastely and inspirationally climbed the corporate ladder.
